Where to start?
Heading to Vung Tau, you should check in a hotel first so can have more time to relax. After that, you should go to the beach to enjoy some sunbath. There are some beaches that you can visit including front beach, back beach, Long Hai beach, Ho Coc - Ho Tram, and Con Dao. Depending on the length of your stay and preferences, you can pick the best spots.
Back Beach is well-known for its over 10 km of fine sand seaside. It is always excited and busy with almost tourists both from the city itself and the world.
Jesus Statue: Considered one of the tallest statues of Christ in Asia, its outstretched arms span a little over 18.4 meters. The more adventurous are welcome to climb to the top of Jesus' arms and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Vung Tau city.Be aware that the stairs are made for small-sized feet.
Ho May Park: Hilltop theme park, reachable by cablecar, with artificial lakes, swan boats, rides & a hotel.
Vung Tau Lighthouse: the French-built Vung Tau Lighthouse (Ngon hai dang Vung Tau) is still operational and gives visitors a 360-degree vista of the city and sea.
Worldwide Arms Museum: Museum featuring mannequins modeling military uniforms, helmets & weapons from throughout history.
Ho Coc - Ho Tram: The beaches are just 110km from Saigon. As with most places in Vietnam, try to avoid weekends and (especially) public holidays, when prices are inflated and crowds and litter abound.
Con Dao is a group of islands off the southeast coast of Vietnam. They’re known for their sandy beaches, coral reefs and marine life. The shores of Bảy Cạnh Island are a breeding ground for turtles, and there are many dive sites in the surrounding clear waters. On the island’s eastern tip, a trail through the forest climbs to the colonial-era Bảy Cạnh Lighthouse. The site offers panoramic views.
